Terms & Conditions of Sale
Any goods sold by Brighton Mouldings Ltd, hereafter called The Company, are subject to the following Terms & Conditions :-
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The acceptance of orders includes the acceptance of terms and conditions set out below, which may not be altered other than in writing by the company.
TITLE
All the goods sold by The Company shall remain the property of the company until paid for in full, according to the invoice. The Company shall be entitled immediately after giving notice of its intention to enter the premeses of the customer with such transport as may be necessary and repossess any goods, samples products to which it has title hereunder.
RISK
The company can not accept responsibility for damage caused by careless handling or through incorrect fitting. Once fitted (plasterwork/surrounds) or cut (marble/agglomerates) no claims or returns can be made.
DAMAGE
The Company must be informed within 24 hours of receipt of any goods that are damaged or shortages that may have incurred in transit, otherwise no claim can be accepted.
GOODS RETURNS/CREDITS
No goods can be accepted for return or credit without prior agreement, and credits only issued after inspection of returned goods.The Company reserves the right to charge a minimum of 10% for handling and re-stocking
SPECIAL ORDERS/CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations will only be accepted if application is recieved within 48 hours of date of order. No claims, returns, or cancellations can be made on any specially ordered goods. Late delivery, however caused, will not be considered grounds for compensation or cancellation.
ACCOUNTS/PAYMENTS
Unless specifically agreed, payment of invoices is due on receipt. Interest may be charged on invoices outstanding for longer than 30 days, at a rate of 2% above the banks base rate ( or, at the rate for the time being applicable under the late payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998, whichever higher )
PLASTERWORK QUALITY
Whislt every effort is made to ensure you receive a quality product, fiberous decorative plaster is fragile and prone to small chips or cracks, which can easily be made good by fillers or adhesives. However should you recieve any item that is badly damaged ( from us, during our responsibility ) We Will replace it gladly.
All Measurements stated within this brouchure/website are approximate sizes and although every care has been taken with the measurments, slight variations may occur.
MARBLE/AGGLOMERATE QUALITY
Most marbles are inherently unsound, varying from slight shakiness in some to extensive open veining in others, all are sold subject to thier natural defects, stopped filled as necessary and customary. Orders can not be cancelled or returned once cut to size.
